In this job it was slightly more complicated then just slapping studs together and throwing on some drywall. The two walls being connected were different widths, and in this old house, were leaning in different directions. After putting our studs together, and adding the drywall, we had to cover all of the seams with mesh tape, and cover all of the holes and seams in two coats of mud. After sanding, the wall is almost perfectly smooth to the touch! Once the door was properly installed we were all set.
