Yikes… Time for an upgrade, I think.
This whole bathroom needed to be gutted. I built a brand new wall to accommodate the new shower size.
I always lay down a thick layer of mortar beneath my showers and tubs to give a nice sturdy base! This is a Lyons Wave 32×32 shower pan and surround. Highly recommend! I installed a Moen shower valve.
On top of doing the shower, the toilet, vanity and mirror were replaced. I needed to add new valves to almost everything too.
The sliding barn door was also a great touch too!
This entire project turned out great!
